5 Italian sausages in casings
1 box ziti rigatoni
2 jars alfredo sauce
2 cloves garlic
2 cups aged or smoked provolone cheese
salt and pepper
Put water in big pot and begin boiling process.
Put the alfredo sauce in a pot, add garlic, and salt and pepper to taste, and turn burner on low heat.
Begin cooking sausages.
When water begins boiling, add about a handful of salt and add rigatoni.
When the sausages and rigatoni are just about done, add provolone cheese to alfredo sauce, which should be well heated by now.
Take sausages off heat and chop in a bias. (or however you want).
Mix about half of the alfredo sauce with cooked pasta, then add chopped sausages mix the rest of the alfredo sauce.
Enjoy!
By the way, how original is this recipie? I’m not sure. But I did come up with it myself.

It’s pretty different and it sound good! [exept for the meet since i'm a vegetarian.] But it sounds good to with the meet for non vegetarians. YOu should call it: Italian Pasta Suprise or Italian pasta 5 becuase it has 5 main ingrediants. Oh I just go an idea! Submit it to 5 or less to the Everday with Rachael Ray magazine. They have a catagorie for it and then the whole world wood love your recipie!

Sounds good. I am not sure what you could call it. But thanks for the recipe. I am always willing to try something new!

Sounds a little salty with the sausage AND the smoked provalone, but otherwise good. I’d simply call it Sausage Rigatoni Alfredo. Simple, but descriptive.
Dolores

I CAN’T TELL HOW IT WOULD TASTE LIKE JUST BY THE RECIPE BUT YOU CAN CALL IT.
YOU CAN CALL IT ” RIGATONI DREAM”!
Darren
Your recipe sounds great to me and I could easily follow your directions if I wanted to make it right now. I don’t know if you used hot or sweet sausge, but I would pick hot since that is what I like.
I don’t recall ever seeing Italian sausage and Alfredo sauce together, so you might have a pretty original recipe.
As for a name, I’m thinking a restaurant might call it something like “Sausage Alfredo Provolone”.
